comedy central logo

personally. i like it a lot.

i think the old one is hoaky, cheesy, and there’s far too much going on. the new one is so much simpler, but the font itself i think has a nice soft edge to it that still reads ‘comedy’ to me. its funny though, because the company that made it apparently likes it a lot and has used it a few other times.

yeah, i realize it looks a lot like the copyright symbol, but it’s not. it’s two c’s. i also think their animation application is pretty awesome. you can see it on UnderConsideration.com

I’m also pretty amazed at the level of legibility even when the “central” is upside down. Well done guys.
